A little story from Chinese philosophy-The story of theThousand-mile horse

There is a young Qianli horse, waiting for Bole to find it.

The merchant came and said, "Will you come withme?" I will take you all over the famous mountains and rivers!" Thehorse shook his head and said, "I am a thousand-li horse, how can I carrygoods for a businessman?"

The soldier came and said, "Will you come withme?" I'll take you to the battlefield!" The horse shook his head andsaid, "I am a Qianli horse, how can I work for an ordinary soldier?"

The hunter came and said, "Will you come with me? Iwill adapt you to the harsh conditions of living in the wild!" The horseshook his head and said, "I am a thousand-li horse, how can I be a cooliefor hunters?"

Day after day, year after year, the horse never found theideal opportunity.

One day, the imperial minister was sent to the people tolook for Qianli horses. The thousand-mile horse found the imperial minister andsaid, "I am the thousand-mile horse you are looking for!"

The imperial minister asked, "Are you familiar withthe course of our country?" The horse shook his head.

The imperial minister asked, "Have you ever been onthe battlefield and had any combat experience?" The horse shook his head.

The imperial minister asked, "Are you good atsurviving in the wild?" The horse shook his head.

The imperial minister said, "Then what do I want youfor?" Ma said, "I can walk a thousand li in a day and eight hundredat night."

The imperial minister said, "Well, run for a while andlet me see."

Because of being pampered for too long, the horse ranforward hard, but it didn't take long to run, panting and sweating.

The imperial minister said: "You are old, cannot!" Then he turned and walked away.

This story tells us that every seemingly ordinary thing youdo today, which seems to have no effect on the surface, is actually savingexperience and energy for the future. Success is left to those who areprepared, as long as you do a good job of the present, when the opportunitycomes, you can seize the moment.

Every unhappiness, worry, and failure we experience today islaying the groundwork for future happiness.

Diploma does not mean ability, diploma does not meanculture, the past glory can only become history and memories. So, how yesterdayis not important, the key is what you do today, because your tomorrow is goodor bad depends on your efforts today!
